About the Chef
A native of Los Angeles and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Chef Dale Greenblatt has been electrifying palates professionally for over 25 years. While working under the influence of Wolfgang Puck at Spago Hollywood and Spago Las Vegas, Dale learned the basis of his cooking philosophy: use quality ingredients and creative, flavorful food combinations coupled with thoughtful preparation and presentation. With this in mind, in the mid-‘90’s, he opened L.A.’s first fat-free restaurant, Gratis, in Brentwood. Since then, Dale has combined all his experience and attention into his upscale, full-service catering company, Gourmet Fetishes. In that time, he has prepared romantic dinners for two up to corporate events for 1,200, as well as opening a School of Cooking, teaching one-class seminars to six-week courses. And in addition, in January 2010, he took over a second catering company, Mrs. Garcia’s Catering, specializing in budget priced, corporate and personal catering of all ethnic cuisines. His knowledgeable, humorous and straightforward approach to cooking will make each catered event a true culinary experience.
